Panwa - a quiet and relaxing part of Phuket

If you want to go to Phuket, but you are looking for a place that is quieter than some of the main resorts, you might want to consider Panwa, a sleepy little resort on the south-eastern tip of Phuket. A recommended hotel for Patong is The Cape Panwa Hotel, where A list celebs such as Catherine Zeta Jones, Leonardo di Caprio and Pierce Brosnan have stayed, when taking a bit of time out from their busy schedules. This hotel is located right on the beach and has a number of pools, a selection of restaurants, and various exciting activities on offer.
The hotel is located on top of a hill on the south-eastern tip of Phuket Island, and commands the most beautiful panoramic views over the clear blue sea and the many small islands. The hotel tries to follow an environmentally responsible policy, maintaining a policy of respect for nature and the surroundings.
The hotel provides a free tram that runs through the well-kept gardens from the hilltop down to the beach below. At the beach there is a popular beach bar which serves the most delicious Pina Coladas. Down here you will also find a swimming pool, but you may well want to swim in the inviting sea.
If you feel like taking a look at Panwa itself for an evening out, and you like to try different beers, you might like to visit The Green Man, which is renowned thoughout the whole island for its great selection of beers.
For a quiet resort that has some interesting and relaxing places to go, Panwa makes a great choice.
